Alec Baldwin shared a selfie on Instagram of his costume and makeup as President Donald Trump for Saturday Night Live.

His latest act came two days after Trump announced that he and Melania Trump have been diagnosed with COVID-19. “Tonight at 11.30 eastern,” Baldwin captioned his snap. He wore a blazer with a white shirt and a striped tie underneath it.

Baldwin wore a blond wig and matching eyebrows to complete the look. He even donned a face mask, signalling the importance of wearing one to minimize the spread of the coronavirus.

According to a report by TMZ, the show “scrambled” to include the news in the episode after discovering the couple tested positive for the virus. The presidential debate was the show’s main topic, but because Trump’s health situation has become more prominent, it decided to adopt a more sensitive approach.



Jim Carrey was also part of the show, playing Trump’s opponent Joe Biden.
