James Corden Spoofs Paul McCartney For Donald Trump’s ‘I’m Immune’ Declaration

Host James Corden flaunted his musicality during the The Late Late Show with James Corden when he reimagined Paul McCartney’s Maybe I’m Amazed as Maybe I’m Immune, based on Donald Trump’s statement after his hospitalization at the Walter Reed Medical Center due to COVID-19.
In the video, Corden can be seen sat in front of a piano in a dramatic setting and belting out the parody track. At one point, the host croons, “Maybe I’m immune to the lies that I have made, I shouldn’t have downplayed,” adding a clip of Trump saying the virus “affects virtually nobody.”
The lyrics continue to mock Trump’s stance on the virus, supported by cutaway clips of the president making questionable comments.
Trump tested positive for coronavirus last week and had been hospitalized over the weekend. He has returned to the White House, where he will be undergoing treatment to combat the virus.
