Halsey Thanks TIME Magazine For Hailing Her As ‘Next Generation Leader’ For 2020

Halsey can now add “generation leader” to her list of achievements, as TIME magazine has announced her to be among 2020’s ‘Next Generation Leaders’.
The “fearless artist and advocate” took to Instagram to thank the magazine for the honor. “Supremely honored to appear on the cover of @time. And eternally grateful to bear witness to an incredible generation that amazes me every single day with their unbridled passion for making this world a better place,” she elaborated.
On the glossy cover, Halsey wore a dark gray tweed dress with a high neckline. The sleeveless dress showed off some of her many tattoos. She wore her hair in long braids, as she turned her head over her left shoulder and posed for the camera.
TIME reported that the singer has found a “new purpose in activism and advocacy.” She made headlines previously after being assaulted with tear gas and rubber bullets during the Black Lives Matter protests.
Speaking to TIME about the upcoming election, she said, “You vote for humanity, or you don’t. You vote for a racist or you don’t. That’s the black and white of it to me.”
