Kanye West Gets Flagged By Twitter For Posting ‘Manipulated’ Election Results

Kanye West was over the moon when the election results supposedly saw him being ranked at third place with 19-percent of the votes. He was depicted to have exceeded Joe Biden’s results of 14 percent and Donald Trump’s two percent. However, it turns out that the visual is fake.
In a video posted on Twitter, West celebrated and chanted, “Get the West Wing ready,” while showing another man the results. He happily read the figures to the man holding the camera, before the man shouted “Let’s go” and “Get the West Wing ready.”
West then tweeted, “People tried to talk to me out of running for president, never let weak controlling people kill your spirit.”
Unfortunately, his happiness was short-lived as his tweet has been flagged as ‘Manipulated Media’ by Twitter, which also provided a link to a local news website explaining the figures provided.
The results were actually part of a test run in preparation for the elections and did not include any data from Kentucky, where early votes will not be counted until election day on 3 November.
The test election results that West had seen and shared was in a cached link on the LEX 18 news website. “The results shown were not valid. They were simply part of a test,” LEX 18 news said. “We regret the discovery of the cached web link and have removed the data from that page. We apologize for any confusion.”
West has also shared a new song titled Nah Nah Nah despite learning that the polling results were false. “The whole team is so energized that I had to release theme music,” he said.
