Cardi B Censured As ‘Irresponsible’ For Throwing Mask-Free Birthday Celebration

Cardi B has received backlash for hosting a massive birthday party in Las Vegas that ignored social distancing rules and face mask-wearing guidelines amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The rapper was dubbed “irresponsible” after she shared a photo of herself falling into a huge crowd of partygoers during her 28th birthday party. “I don’t know… blame it on Tommie & JT,” she captioned her snap, which saw her lying flat on the floor.
Her photo prompted comments from her fans, who expressed concern for the massive gathering in the middle of a pandemic. Photos and videos shared on her Instagram also showed her guests partying without wearing any masks on and skirting social distancing measures. Several users also noticed there was only one person wearing a face covering among the crowd.
“Bruh, that’s so irresponsible, y’all forget we are in a worldwide pandemic?” an Instagram user equipped. “So, celebrities don’t think social distancing applies to them too?” another asked.
