If there’s anything positive that came out of 2020 so far, it would be the unity among people as the world faces a common enemy: the coronavirus pandemic.

Netflix’s new show, Social Distance, is inspired by that bond everyone shares in spite of different backgrounds.

The anthology series showcases how humans have managed to adapt to the worldwide health crisis through technology while combating uncertainty and isolation. It explores eight unique stories, each following a different person or family coping with the difficulties sprung from the pandemic.

The show presents these long-distance connections through webcam screens, conference calls, and virtual reality.

Social Distance stars a lineup of cast members, including familiar faces like When They See Us’ Asante Blackk , Orange Is The New Black’s Danielle Brooks, and The Office’s Oscar Nuñez.
