Elton John Gets His Own Barbie Doll Bedazzled In His Iconic Rose-Tinted Glasses

Mattel is paying tribute to pop icon Elton John with a new 12-inch blonde Barbie doll dressed in his likeness.
The limited-edition “Tiny Dancer” toy sports the singer’s iconic rose-tinted glasses with an “Elton” jacket and flared jeans emblazoned with “E” and “J” on each side respectively.
The toymaker released the doll in conjunction with John’s 45-year-anniversary of his famed concert at Dodgers Stadium in 1975, which is recognized as the largest concert for a single artist at that time.
“Barbie is an icon in her own right, so having her pay tribute to my work and personal style is a real honor,” the 73-year-old told the Rolling Stone. “I hope that she inspires fans everywhere to fearlessly pursue their own dreams and limitless potential.”
The Elton John Barbie is packed in a bedazzled collectible box and comes with a doll stand. It is currently priced at US$50 on Walmart.
