Joe Biden has found a cheeky way to mock Donald Trump’s plans in managing the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Democratic presidential nominee’s campaign team have launched a new trumpcovidplan.com website, which outlines instances where Trump has failed to control the spread of coronavirus in the US.

“After eight months of this pandemic, we finally found president Trump’s plan to beat COVID-19,” Biden tweeted together with a link to the website on Saturday.

The website’s landing page displays a “Not Found” error message and the words, “The Trump plan to defeat the coronavirus and reopen safely does not exist.” It also has a button that reads, “learn more,” which leads to a timeline dating from January to October 2020 with quotes and tweets from Trump assuring the public that the pandemic is “totally under control,” “will disappear,” and “will go away.”

The bottom of the page has a link to Biden’s campaign page and his plan to “beat COVID-19.”

“Joe Biden has been laser-focused on the threat that COVID-19 has posed to our nation and the decisive public health and economic steps necessary to get the virus under control, deliver immediate relief to working families, and reopen our schools and businesses safely,” the page reads.
