Having your domestic and office lives suddenly gel into one might not do good things for your work-life balance. At times like these, a show such as Netflix’s Tidying Up with Marie Kondo could help you regain perspective—and soon, you’ll be able to own objects authentic to the famous KonMari method and its creator.

Marie Kondo has announced that she will be releasing an exclusive sustainable organizing tools collection with The Container Store. The lineup ties its expertise with storage and organization, as well as her “tidy and joyful ethos,” in order to help spark joy and maximize space in living spaces, according to the company’s press release.

The Container Store x KonMari line will comprise over 100 versatile and eco-friendly items designed out of bamboo, ceramic, recycled fiberboard, wood, and other premium sustainably-sourced materials.

“When Tidying Up premiered in 2019 and consumers immediately connected decluttering and organization with The Container Store, we knew that there was an opportunity to create something special with Marie,” said Melissa Reiff, the brand’s CEO and President. “[We] cannot wait to introduce this thoughtful and beautifully designed collection of products to our customers.”

While the announcement doesn’t specify what sorts of products will be available in this drop, Kondo shared that she was “thrilled” about being able to “infuse aspects of my Japanese heritage into the collaboration.”

The teaser photo of her also offers a glimpse at some ceramic storage units in the background, though it’s unclear if those same items will feature in the collection.

Fans will only have to wait till January 2021, when the range is scheduled to debut online and in stores, to find out.
