Celebrities Got Tricked Into Auditioning For A Fake ‘Borat 3’ Film

YouTubers Josh Pieters and Archie Manners managed to trick celebrities into auditioning for a fake Borat sequel.
Their latest prank, produced in collaboration with Amazon, saw the duo conducting auditions with celebrities and influencers over Zoom. The lineup included Jimmy Carr, David Walliams, David Spade, Ann Widdecombe, Little Mix star Perrie Edwards and Stephen Bear.
The celebrities’ agents were handed full Borat 3 scripts. “We didn’t just want it to be really silly and laughing at people doing bad auditions,” Manners explained. “You also get to see and enjoy some world-class acting from David Walliams and imagine him in that role as the ambassador of Kazakhstan.”
Widdecombe was captured saying “very nice” at least four times, while Walliams impressed the duo with his enthusiastic audition. Influencers had to read out lyrics from Cardi B’s hit song WAP, and Perrie had to say “I like sex” in her audition to play Borat’s sister.
Speaking about the prank, Manners said, “If you’re in your early 20s and love YouTube you’ll enjoy it.”
“And if you’re my grandfather and you’re an MP and politics fan, there’s also something there,” he added.
The clip was published a few days after the release of the real, Sacha Baron Cohen-starring Borat 2 film on Amazon Prime.
