Grimes Creates An AI-Powered Lullaby To Sing You To Sleep

Musician and new mother Grimes has teamed up with soundscape-focused app Endel for AI Lullaby, a new project created to help both babies and adults alike to get restful sleep.
The new track consists of ambient-like sounds, along with Grimes’ music and soothing vocals. It is designed to boost sleep and wellness in children and adults, but is also made to encourage relaxation and focus.
“I think, if approached properly, AI has the ability to radically fix our world,” the singer said in a statement. “I appreciate Endel because they represent the growing trend of humane technology. I hope that the fields of AI safety, research, philosophy, as well as humane AI and spiritual technology, etc. can grow a lot in the coming years. We’ll need it!”
The company stated that a portion of the proceeds for the tune will heads towards AI for Anyone and Naked Heart Foundation, nonprofits focused on inclusivity and special needs, as well as mental health support for mothers and children.
The track is now available on the Endel app until 23 December 2020. It will be released on Amazon Alexa and Android. Listen to it below.
