Disney World theme park in Florida is revamping its entrance to match the recent makeover done to its Cinderella Castle, but many aren’t too happy about it.

The theme park is recognized for its distinguished banner, which reads, “Where Dreams Come True.” It also features multicolored flags and massive cutouts of Mickey and Minnie Mouse on each side. The gate’s color scheme sports red, yellow, purple colors.

Now, Disney has unveiled a digital rendering of the upcoming renovation on Twitter. The entrance will now feature the banner with a new message reading, “The Most Magical Place on Earth.”

The revamp will see the switch of positions between Mickey and Minnie, and include the rainbow flags on top. Replacing the vibrant color scheme will be a palette of blue, gold, and gray.

Many Twitter users have responded to the announcement, stating that the redesign has killed the magic and nostalgic of stepping into Disney World. “Boring and lacks magic,” one person expresses. Others have also remarked that the changes are “unnecessary” and “not enticing” to visitors.

This is not a great idea. Most people prefer it the way it is, I’m sure. Also, maybe not the best time.

So boring and lacks magic. But after the lifeless changes you have been making to merchandise locations and resort rooms, I’m not surprised. 😒

This is not enticing for children and anybody else! No, no & no Disney!

Imagine laying off tens of thousands of workers but still pouring out the money for unnecessary remodeling..
