Beyoncé amazed fans as she appeared on three different covers of
British Vogue magazine as part of its special December 2020 issue.
On the first cover, she looked sensational in a black sheer Thierry Mugler bodysuit that took over 100 hours to sew. The statement number had 64 panels, a high neck, as well as built-in gloves and socks. According to
British Vogue, Mugler’s creative director Casey Cadwallader had been developing the garment since December 2017.
The star’s blonde locks were styled into a loose hairdo to match her glamorous makeup look. She posed with her leg lifted into the air as she gazed at the camera.
Another cover saw the singer taking the opportunity to show off pieces from her
Ivy Park collection for adidas. She wore a lime green unitard with a matching chiffon cape and bucket hat.
For the final cover, she looked sophisticated in an Alexander McQueen evening jacket with dramatic red ruffled detailing at the sides. She paired it with black tights and black heels. The singer accessorized her outfit with gold jewelry and styled her hair into a slick sweptback hairdo.
In the accompanying interview, she admitted that she felt “absolutely changed” due to the
coronavirus pandemic. “It would be difficult to experience life in a pandemic and the current social unrest and not be changed,” she explained. “I have learned that my voice is clearer when I am still.”
She added that she has taken this time to make memories with her family and “slow down and shed stressful things from [her] life.”
