‘2020 Scent’ Candle Gives Off-Putting Whiffs Of The Year With ‘Tiger King’ Notes

Candle company Flaming Crap has unveiled a 2020 Scent candle that consists of four scents pretty much summing up the rather questionable year.
The company states that the layered candle includes “subtle scents of banana bread, hand sanitizer, DIY and woody musks, alongside budget aftershave and an earthy essence, that 2020’s TV icon — Joe Exotic from Tiger King would use to attract his next mate.”
If you’re wondering how the company has come up with such random smells, well, it attempted to round up the most notable moments in 2020.
The banana bread and hand sanitizer fragrances reflect the panic-buying that occurred during the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic, while the “DIY and woody musks” reference the trend of people attempting to get crafty at home during the lockdown.
Not to forget, the notes of budget aftershave and earthy essence represent the notorious character in Netflix’s hit show Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness.
Flaming Crap admits that the scents might come off as random and may not “particularly” complement each other. However, it believes that the candle with “slightly off scent seems rather fitting for the year of a global pandemic.”
The 2020 Scent is made with vegan kerasoy wax and recycled paper labels, and has a 30-hour burn time, which is around 7.5 hours for each layer. Find out more here.
