Pornhub Reserves Website Only For Voters Who ‘Give A F**k’ As They Deserve One

Pornhub took a proactive approach to make people vote this year.
The adult website teamed up with Los Angeles-based creative agency Just For Fun to launch the “Give a F**k, Get a F**k” campaign. Basically, before you could view people sitting on poles, you had to fulfill your duty and head out to the polls first.
From 10am to 9pm EST on 3 November, viewers visiting the website in the US would be greeted with a landing page reminding them to vote. Pornhub’s brand ambassadors Asa Akira, Janice Griffith, Lance Hart and Domino Presley would also encourage visitors to go out and vote.
In a promotional video, adult star Lindsey Banks said, “You can’t come and see me if you don’t (give a f**k about the election). So, go vote.”
Speaking about the campaign, Just For Fun said it hoped the move would inspire US citizens to make a choice. “This year, to encourage everyone to get off the couch and head to the polling places, we knew we needed to hit them where it hurts—their pants,” the agency said.
Pornhub vice president Corey Price said in a statement, “Roughly 43 percent of eligible voters—equal to 100 million people—didn’t vote in the 2016 US Presidential Election, according to turnout estimates from the US Elections Project. We want to encourage people to do their civic duty this year by casting their ballot and having their voice heard.”
