Mattel Debuts Motorized Baby Yoda Who Can Play Hide-And-Seek With You

Toy company Mattel has unveiled a motorized Baby Yoda figurine that can move around and play hide-and-seek with you.
Known as The Child from The Mandalorian, the creature has won the hearts of many around the world. So, it’s no surprise that there are now a plethora of plush toys of the alien on sale.
Mattel’s latest version is slightly different from the rest, as it can be controlled and make movements like the actual character in the series.
The 12-inch-tall Baby Yoda toy is accompanied by a wrist strap control unit with a joystick to allow users to control how the figure moves. They can spin it, make it wiggle its ears, turn its head and move its arms up and down.
You can even play hide-and-seek with The Child by pressing the blue button, which will activate the toy to wait for 10 seconds before searching the room for you. When the yellow button is pressed, Baby Yoda can follow you around as long as you keep the wrist strap near the mechanical doll.
The Baby Yoda toy is now available for preorder at US$69.99.
