Studio Ghibli Unveils Adorable Bronze Statue Of Totoro & Friends In Japan

Fan-favorite characters Totoro and friends from Studio Ghibli’s My Neighbour Totoro have been immortalized in the form of a statue in Tokorozawa, Japan.
The bronze statue has been beautifully crafted to depict Totoro standing under a leaf and wrapped around by the furry Catbus. The two sisters, Satsuki and Mei, peer out of its windows.
The structure is meant to reflect the scene where Totoro stood next to the little girls at the bus stop before boarding the Catbus.
The unveiling was attended by a group of children, who excitedly yelled, “Totoro!” before the Ghibli characters were finally previewed.
