Russian techwear brand KRAKATAU has teamed up with KASPERSKY to create a collection of garments that can be customized via a user’s digital identity imprint.
According to research completed by KASPERSKY, 37-percent of millennials think they are “too boring” to be a victim of cybercrime. However, analysis from experts has shown that data valuable to us is equally important to cybercriminals.
Some of the information sold on the darknet markets includes selfies with documentations, passports, medical records and credit card details.
Kaspersky is committed to protecting user’s privacy and freedom of self-expression. To raise the importance of safeguarding the above, the Safe_Expression fashion collection invites you to create a garment that shows off your unique personality and reveals how ready you might be to protect your privacy.
The clothing is based on your digital imprint. All you need to do is to answer a few questions from a chatbot about your online behavior and privacy habits.
You will then receive your own unique print, created from algorithms that analyze user’s privacy concerns. The more concerned a person is about their privacy, the more complex or harmonious the print will be.
“By creating this collection with KRAKATAU we want to talk about privacy and safety in a way that it can relate to fashion and simply explain how your self-expression can remain independent and protected,” said Andrew Winton, vice president for global marketing at KASPERSKY.
“Security has become the key theme of the collection—it demonstrates how you can keep your data safe online, while the clothing items protect you from the harsh real-world weather conditions,” the KRAKATAU team said.
The Safe_Expression collection features t-shirts, sweatshirts and jackets in black and neon green. You can create a custom garment based on your digital imprint, via KRAKATAU’s website.
