Disney & Vodafone Design Kids’ Smartwatch Filled With Fun Virtual ‘Sidekicks’

Disney and Vodafone have teamed up to release the Neo, a smartwatch made for kids.
The wearable features technology by Vodafone and iconic characters, sounds, and imagery from Disney. The device is equipped with several features, including the ability to call, receive calls, and monitor location updates so parents can keep track of their children’s movements.
Kids can personalize their device by selecting their own Disney sidekick “who comes to life in the watch.” The chosen character will pop up throughout the day to entertain the user through unique sound effects and imageries.
Some of the Disney characters to choose from include The Child fromThe Mandalorian, Iron Man, Elsa from Frozen, and more.
The device is currently available in two colors: Mint and Ocean. It is waterproof at a depth of 10 meters (33 feet) for up to 30 minutes. However, it is not approved for swimming or diving. The tech toy is also equipped with a 5MP camera on its side.
