Japanese Chain Rolls Up Christmas Meal In One Bite With Fried Chicken Sushi

Japanese sushi chain Kappa Sushi’s latest offering will delight fried chicken lovers and possibly insult sushi purists.
The chain has added Fried Chicken Nigiri to its menu, and it features a breaded chicken fillet seasoned with black pepper and topped with mayo, over a block of sushi rice.
The offering comes just in time for the festive season. For those unaware, fried chicken is a staple in Japan for Christmas time.
Jumping on the importance of fried chicken for the holidays, Kappa Sushi also offers fried chicken without the rice with either the black pepper or a togarashi spicy pepper option.
