‘Cyberpunk 77’ Designers Added Guy Who Looks A Lot Like Elon Musk Into The Game

The highly coveted video game Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release this year, but some players had the opportunity to try the game ahead of its launch—even leaking some raunchy scenes while they were at it.
Somehow, a man in the likeness of SpaceX CEO Elon Musk appeared in the gameplay, leaving many to speculate if it was an intentional cameo.
CNET reported to have come across the figure in the bathroom of a “corporate” scene, where he was asked to move away from V. The resemblance between the character and Musk seemed to be uncanny.
However, Business Insider later cited a Cyberpunk 77 representative who cleared up that the man was not Musk.
Even though the character supposedly isn’t Musk himself, fans are hopeful that the Tesla CEO will make a surprise appearance later on. Musk did tweet out a post reading, “See you in 2077,” to the video game’s account back in 2019. Furthermore, his partner Grimes is playing a cyborg pop star, called Lizzy Wizzy, in the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be officially released on 10 December 2020. View the trailer below.
