KitKat Creates A Luxurious Winter-Only Flavor That Tastes Like ‘Rich Cheesecake’

There has been a variety of KitKat flavor combinations so far, and following a smoky one that has been aged in whisky barrels, Nestlé Japan has introduced a brand new Rich Cheesecake flavor.
The exclusive KitKat was created in collaboration with Japanese patissier Yasumasa Takagi. It infuses cream cheese powder and a special cheese flavor with couverture white chocolate.
The smooth chocolate mixed with cheese melts away, offering a tart contrast much like the flavor profile of premium cheesecakes to the crunchy wafers.
Priced at 300 yen (US$2.88), the limited-edition Rich Cheesecake Taste will only be available during the winter from 15 December 2020 at KitKat Chocolatory boutiques and online.
