Nike To Release Air Force 1 Kicks With An Exposed Foam Design

Nike is expected to release a new spin on the Air Force 1 in the coming months. Dubbed the ‘Experimental Sail’, this version is believed to be joining Nike’s N.354 subline and features uppers entirely covered with foam.
According to Highsnobiety, the foam-like material mimics the foam derived from the “agitation of seawater.”
The sneakers feature two ripstop tabs and a quick lacing system around the forefoot. The uppers are covered with sponge-like material inspired by oxygen masks being used in Nike’s research lab.
The symbol “N.354” is engraved on the lateral Swoosh of the shoe and a fluorescent label is placed in the lower part of the heel. The Air Force 1-Type N. 354 boasts a classic white midsole accompanied by an icy semi-translucent outsole.
Currently, there is no word on when the shoes will be released, but they are expected to hit Nike’s website in the coming months for US$110.
