Google has released its annual ‘Year in Search’ list, which pretty much sums up a heap of newsworthy things that happened during this weird year. The list features top trending searches in 2020—from DIY projects to politicians.

Unsurprisingly, “election results” and “coronavirus” topped the trending searches list, as many needed answers about the pandemic and the nail-biting election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Among the top 10 on the list includes Chadwick Boseman and PlayStation 5.

The tech giant revealed a whole bunch of ways people coped and kept entertained this year. Popular queries included “how to make a face mask with fabric,” “how to make hand sanitizer” and “how to make whipped coffee.”

Google also highlighted some of this year’s prominent losses, which include basketball star Kobe Bryant, Supreme Court Jutice Ruth Bader Ginburg, and George Floyd, whose death sparked a movement for racial justice.
