This week, social media users began reminiscing vintage fast-food packaging after Twitter user @onapowertrip posted a series of photos of meals from Wendy’s and McDonald’s from back in the day.

Though the user didn’t specify when these photos were taken, the caption, “I’m this old,” hinted that the images were from the past.

The post saw replies from other Twitter users, who were drawn to McDonald’s retro branding and Wendy’s bright yellow packaging.

Soon, many more joined the thread and shared photos of different fast-food restaurants’ nostalgic—and sometimes iffy—interior designs and brandings. One user declared that Roy Rogers’ old brown and yellow branding was the “worst color combo ever.” Another revealed a photo of a Subway store from the 90s, which was decked in yellow furniture and had a wallpaper of newspaper clippings about subways.

People are talking about Yellow Wendy’s, but not mentioning early 90’s Subway, complete with yellow furniture and newspaper wallpaper...about subways. pic.twitter.com/A2E6Iux1vG

Yellow Wendy’s is fine, but what about those old McDonald’s high chairs? Had me wanting to join those dudes for a hot air balloon ride. pic.twitter.com/2WW5xYw5na

Roy Rogers anyone? Their colors were yellow and brown. Worst color combo ever. pic.twitter.com/bfGsze5VTU
