MIT Opens ‘Introduction To Deep Learning’ Course For All To Attend For Free

No matter which industry you work in, this much is true: AI is the future. With all this time at home, it might be a good idea to acquaint yourself with its concepts. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is now making this more possible by opening up its Introduction to Deep Learning classes for free.
With this module, you’ll grasp the fundamentals of deep learning methods and algorithms with applications in art, computer vision, language, robotics, biology, and more. You’ll also gain practical experience by learning to build neural networks with TensorFlow.
There are 10 lectures and five lab sessions in the schedule, with each lesson focusing on a specific topic, like deep computer vision or de-biasing facial recognition.
While it’d be great for listeners to be familiar with Python and “very elementary” linear algebra and calculus before joining the course, MIT says the class is “beginner-friendly,” as “we have many registered students from outside of computer science.”
