DocMorris’ Xmas Ad Of Elderly Man Training With Weights Breaks Internet’s Hearts

German pharmaceuticals company Doc Morris has unveiled a Christmas advertisement that will tug at your heartstrings.
The tear-jerking video illustrates the story of an elderly man embarking on a solo fitness quest in the run-up to the festive season, lifting weights in his shed.
At first, he struggles to lift the dumbbells, but is determined not to give up. He reaches out for a photo of his young granddaughter, which he uses as motivation. With much perseverance, the man tries to lift every day, succeeding on being stronger and lifting heavier weights over time.
The clip then reveals why he was training: so he will be strong enough to carry his granddaughter up to put the star on top of the Christmas tree.
The advertisement concludes with a German slogan that reads, “So that you can take care of what really matters in life.”
The video has touched many with its heart-warming depiction of what matters during this rough time.
“This commercial took me down and made me cry right at my work desk today. I showed it to three cowokers, and all three also ended up in tears. This is absolutely lovely,” one Twitter user wrote. “I did not know where this was going but now, I’m ugly crying,” another user admitted.
