Watch: Edible Vinyl Record Made Out Of Chocolate Gets Played, And Later, Eaten

Vinyl is said to have better sound quality in comparison to CDs and audio files—but what if it was made out of chocolate?

YouTube user Techmoan has put up made-to-order chocolate albums to the test. In the video, a fully chocolate-filled vinyl was placed on a turntable to play music.

The first attempt, unfortunately, was a failure as the record player’s stylus was too heavy and ended up scratching into the chocolate. It also produced a scratching sound that was just too painful to listen to.

In the second attempt, things were turning around. The different edible album managed to play We Wish You a Merry Christmas, albeit a little unclear and muffled.
