Krispy Kreme Is Launching Vegan Glazed Doughnuts So No One Will Be Missing Out

Krispy Kreme has announced that it will be launching its first glazed vegan doughnut in the UK.
According to the company, the Original Glazed Vegan has the same texture and flavor as its iconic Original Glazed option, which was launched in 1937. The offering will be available for pre-orders starting 21 December and for nationwide orders from 5 January next year.
Although the vegan option is created based on a bespoke vegan-friendly recipe, the doughnut still maintains its light, fluffy texture and sweetness. This option is perfect for those who are exploring vegan options or has already started a vegan lifestyle.
“We are excited to extend our range of iconic irresistibly original doughnuts with the launch of our first ever vegan offering, available exclusively in the UK,” said Louise Direto Krispy Kreme UK and Ireland’s head of innovation.
“We know January is a time that many are trying out new lifestyles and set ourselves the challenge to create a plant-based doughnut that is equally delicious as the original with absolutely no compromise,” she added.
