If you think you’ve got great music taste, think again. Try Judge My Spotify and let a scornful AI bot roast your listening habits.
Judge My Spotify was created by digital publication The Pudding and trained by Mike Lacher and Matt Daniels. It starts with a page asking if you’d like to find out how bad is your Spotify.
Then, it analyzes your music library and asks you a series of questions based on the songs you’ve listened to on the platform. Your answers will also affect your results.
Once you’ve completed the series of questions, you will be greeted by a page that will deem how bad your Spotify is currently. It will also point out the reasons why you’ve gotten a bad result. Some comments include, “stop-getting-all-your-music-from-TikTok- bad,” and “hey-I-can-play-Wonderwall-on-acoustic-guitar bad.”
The website will also provide a list of the tracks you revisit a little too often, as well as the artists you adore to “an uncomfortable extent.” Finally, it will suggest how “basic” you are based on your choice of music. The AI bot is able to narrow down the era you’re seemingly stuck in based on your popular tracks.
