Shoot Out Sanitizer Like You’re Spider-Man With This Virus-Fighting Wristband

The coronavirus pandemic has forced people to equip themselves with face masks and hand sanitizers to reduce the spread of the virus. One such piece of protective gear is the new ‘SprayCare’ wristband, which allows people to spray a stream of sanitizer on objects, almost like Spider-Man with his web.
The SprayCare band, designed to be strapped around your wrist, gets to work at the press of a touch-sensitive button. It consists of a small vial, an atomizer nozzle, and an electronic pump that sprays the mist once it has been activated.
The vial can be filled with 5 milliliters of sanitizer. Then, you can tap on the band’s button to shoot the mist at up to five feet away. The band boasts over 40 sprays, with each burst lasting for three seconds.
The product aims to provide convenience and save time, as it takes longer to pick up a bottle of hand sanitizer, open it, and use it before touching anything.
The wristband runs on an 80mAH battery that can be recharged using a micro-USB port, located on the side. There is an LED indicator that informs the wearer if the device needs to be recharged, and the orifice on the top enables the user to refuel the casing once the sanitizer liquid runs out.
The SprayCare band comes in a universal size and is available in four colors: white, black, pink, and navy blue. It has exceeded its Kickstarter crowdfunding goal and will start shipping from March 2021.
