In a unique pre-Christmas stunt, McDonald’s Poland teamed up with advertising agency DDB Warszawa to spread some snowy winter joy to those in Szczecin who are currently in lockdown.

Szczecin is the only city in Poland that experiences limited amount of snow. To put a smile on people’s faces this winter season, McDonald’s decided to deliver snow to customers who ordered the Burger Drwala (The Lumberjack Burger) from 28 to 29 November via drones.

With cutting-edge technology, McDonald’s brought snow to the houses of these customers, who were surprised to see snowfall right outside their windows as they sunk their teeth in the burger. The stunt was a great way to lift the spirits of those who have been cooped up due to the coronavirus pandemic.
