Marks & Spencer Successfully Makes Brussels Sprouts Sexy With Tom Hardy’s Help

Marks & Spencer has commissioned actor Tom Hardy in its latest ad for… Brussels sprouts.
Hardy took a detour from acting as he gushed over sultry sprouts in the one of its Christmas advertisements. “Bring on the sprouts! 100-percent British gorgeousness, ah cheeky, farm fresh specially selected, I do love a sprout,” Hardy said in his sensuous tone.
He also described the varieties sold by the British high-street retailer, before adding, “And if you are one of these strange people who doesn’t like sprouts, think again, these aren’t just any sprouts, these are M&S sprouts.”
Fans took to social media to over Hardy for making the vegetable “sexy.”
“I hate sprouts, but Tom Hardy narrating this makes me think I could eat them and only them for the rest of my life,” a Twitter user said. “Only Tom Hardy could make sprouts sexy,” another added.
Marks & Spencer has unveiled nine advertisements for Christmas this year. The advertisements heard from the much-loved voices of Naomie Harris, Jeremy Irons, Olivia Colman and Dame Julie Walters.
