A swimwear brand from the Philippines has released a campaign featuring women of different body shapes and sizes, all completely unretouched.

Float Swimwear hopes to help women realize that they can wear a swimsuit regardless of their shape and size. The dreamy campaign shows models posing against a plain backdrop while donning the brand’s bikinis.

Some of the shots are zoomed into the models’ bodies, putting stomach rolls, cellulite, and stretch marks all on display.

In a bid to champion body positivity, the brand’s co-founder Tracianne Estada set out to create a campaign with imagery as close to reality as possible. The visuals were shot by photographer Anj Angeles.

“I’m really done with body shaming comments; it’s done nothing but put girls down. It’s time to let go of all hatred and resentment. People should accept that each body is unique no matter what shape or size, and just choose to enjoy it for what it is,” Estrada explained.

The duo wishes to display the true beauty of these women through the photos and “show them that they already are beautiful exactly the way they are.”

One of the models, Elora, said that the campaign is “refreshing and uncompromising.” She initially had the thought that her flaws would be photoshopped out of the photos as this is what brands normally do.

“I grew up thinking I had to wait until I was 90 lbs and my face was free from all my birthmarks. But Anj came up to me with the vision of the shoot, of strong women in different shapes and sizes, as if it was the most sensible idea for a swimsuit campaign,” Elora shared.

“It’s true pioneers like her who truly care about self-love that will really revolutionize how the world can really look at themselves in the mirror and see that they too deserve to be the face of a swimsuit campaign, or a makeup line, or just the beautiful face of self- love,” she continued.
