McDonald’s Belgium has cleverly shown how it has managed to lift children’s spirits during the pandemic.

In collaboration with advertising agency TBWA/Brussels and Belgian photographer Jef Boes, the advertisements depict kids lighting up upon seeing the famous Golden Arches out of the window.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, families are forced to stay in and kids have a hard time having fun indoors. One of the few things that families are allowed to do, though, is to pick up meals via the McDrive area at McDonald’s.

Boes captured the excited and hopeful looks of children with McDonald’s famous Golden Arches reflected in the car windows. Because their expressions show it all, no text or signature was needed to convey the message.
