Starbucks Japan’s New Year Drinkware Is Adorned With Auspicious Ox & Doll Motifs

Starbucks Japan has unveiled its beautiful New Year merchandise—think mugs and tumblers adorned with Mount Fuji and ox motifs.
The collection includes tumblers, mugs, stainless bottles, and even a limited-edition Bearista Bear. The drinkwear range features traditional Japanese New Year motifs, such as the animal of the year, the ox, as well as komainu dog and daruma dolls.
On the Stainless Tumbler Shippou, you’ll find camellias, sweet mochi rice ball sticks, and Bearista characters in kimono prints. The Glass Mug features Mount Fuji, Japan’s famous mountain, and can hold both hot and cold beverages.
The range also includes a knit cloth set, beverage cards, as well as a limited-edition plate set.
The special collection is available in Starbucks stores in Japan and its online store from 26 December. In the meantime, check out the lineup below.
