Studio Ghibli has released a vinyl record collection of its original soundtracks, to the delight of its fans.
Composed by Joe Hisashi and spearheaded by Hayao Miyazaki, the set includes soundtracks such as
Kiki’s Delivery Service,
Porco Rosso,
Spirited Away and
Howl’s Moving Castle. It also includes original tracks of
Castle in the Sky,
Princess Mononoke and
My Neighbor Totoro.
The collection also features symphonic tunes, concept albums and sound books of selected titles.
The entire record collection is priced at US$750. Records can be purchased individually, with albums ranging from US$36 to S$50. Each record is housed in a sleeve featuring artwork from Studio Ghibli’s film.
