Netflix Debuts Recommendations Hotline To Hook You Up With Shows To Watch

Netflix has launched a New Year’s Day hotline to help you discover new shows on its platform.
“We’ve assembled a team of celebrity experts to help you find the perfect thing to watch today!” Netflix announced on Twitter. “Just tell us what you’re in the mood for and we’ll hook you up—you can call our recommendation hotline as 1-866-NYD-2021.”
When you dial the number, you will be given a list of options and the ability to enter codes connecting you to different celebrity-led extensions. For example, if you dial in “666,” you will get be addressed by stars of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
For the complete guide of extensions, you can view Netflix’s official Instagram story, where you can choose to reach Jimmy O. Yang, Gabriel Iglesias, Rahul Kohli and Michelle Buteau, to name a few.
If you don’t wish to speak to celebrities, the operator will provide you with nine different options that correspond to your keypad. Choose option “1” if you “want something brand new to Netflix.” Press “2” if “you’re hungover,” and “3” if “you’re already broken your New Year’s resolution.”
