Apple has launched a special edition of its AirPods Pro in celebration of Chinese New Year.

This rendition features an ox icon, 2021 being the Year of the Ox. The AirPods Pro, which are priced at RMB 1,999 (US$310), work just like the standard AirPods Pro but feature the ox graphic on the charging case. The AirPods are packaged in a box with the same ox print.

Apple has mentioned that the limited-edition AirPods Pro will be sold in selected regions in Asia, namely China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and Malaysia.

According to Apple, the ox-themed AirPods Pro are in limited supply, with a total of 25,400 units available. 11,480 of those will be sold in retail stores, while 13,920 are available for purchase online.

Each customer is also only entitled to two pairs in a bid to avoid resellers hoarding the devices.
