The topsy-turvy from the past year has pushed creatives to channel their anxieties in explorative ways.
As a result of global turmoil, Adobe Stock has noticed a common theme worldwide. Everywhere, brands and creators have sought to nurture connections, comfort, and wellbeing. They deliberated on how to keep loved ones close despite a forced distance, how people could keep their physical and mental health afloat during times of trouble, and what they could do to provide support.
“We found these foundational themes again and again in visual culture, editorial, search and customer data,” noted Brenda Milis, Adobe Stock’s Principal of Creative Services and Visual Trends.
This revolutionary search to meet inner priorities has shaped the company’s 2021 creative trends.
“Across all creative mediums, the 2021 trends feel especially meaningful — reflecting a range of reactions to the hardships of the past year, and the hopeful, regenerative spirit with which creatives face the year ahead,” Milis shared.
