Tesla Shows Off How Its Batteries Are Made In Recruitment Campaign

Tesla has released a video showing how it manufactures its lithium-ion cells in a bid to encourage people to join its fledging battery cell division.
The video demonstrates the stages of battery production, from manufacturing the raw material to its end product, and how it is packaged for commercial purposes. The clip also boasts Tesla’s technology and its level of automation in its facilities.
The company has also launched a new landing page for people to apply to the battery cell team. “To achieve the transition to sustainable energy, we must produce more affordable EVS and energy storage, while building factories faster and with far less investment. The key to this is terawatt-scale battery production and far more affordable battery cells,” Tesla wrote to explain the goal of the new cell team.
