Italian pasta brand Barilla has teamed up with Spotify to create a playlist that can be used as a kitchen timer.
Dubbed The Playlist Timer, the playlist corresponds to the cooking time of different pasta shapes like spaghetti, penne, linguine and fusilli. The selected songs range from nine to 11 minutes and cover Italy’s top music genres of hip hop, pop, indie and musical classics.
The playlist, put together by creative agency
Publicis Italy, aims to take you on a journey through cuisine and music. It offers entertainment while you cook your favorite pasta, encouraging you to listen to good music as you prepare your pasta to perfection.
There are eight different collections in the
Playlist Timer, and they include
Best Song Penne,
Moody Day Linguine, and
Top Hits Spaghetti, to name a few. Some of the tracks are from artists like Emiliano Ponzi, Van Orton, Fernando Cobelo and Andrea Mongia.
Barilla and Spotify reassure that the
Playlist Timer will be updated cyclically to feature new hits so you can dance in the kitchen while waiting for your pasta to be al dente.
