Brands Are Now Having Fun With Bernie Sanders’ Viral Inauguration Photo

Vermont senator Bernie Sanders went viral after he was photographed at president Joe Biden’s inauguration event. He wore a pair of cozy mittens while sitting on a foldable chair and wearing a blue surgical mask. Needless to say, it was an entire mood and social media users around the world began crafting memes of Sanders’ pose.
There is also a website where you can place Sanders anywhere in the world. Sanders’ team has also jumped on the sensation by selling sweatshirts with the image on it.
Brands, too, have decided to get in on the excitement, and launched their own memes to promote their products. Some of the brands include makeup brand Benefit Cosmetics, Shopify, MTV, and even KFC India.
Shopify, the e-commerce platform that supports businesses of all sizes, tweeted, “Waiting for your first sale,” alongside a cutout of Sanders superimposed onto a stock image of an office.
Benefit Cosmetics tweeted a photo of Sanders impatiently waiting in a dressing room, writing, “When the appointment before you decides to add a wax last minute.” KFC India showed Sanders video calling Colonel Sanders “to say everything will be alright with a bucket of hot and crispy chicken.”
