Unreleased ‘Simpsons’ Art Reveals A Nude Mr Burns With An ‘Unmentionable’ Crotch

One would hardly consider Mr. Montgomery Burns of The Simpsons to be among pop culture’s most attractive characters.
Yet, a nude picture of the cartoon antagonist exists, no thanks to the creators of the long-running series themselves. It turns out that his privates are just as endowed—AKA lacking—as his sense of empathy.
The production cel for the Who Shot Mr. Burns (Part Two) episode envisions Smithers in a bathroom with Mr. Burns in the buff. While viewers might be haunted by the image of nipples on the villain, what truly burns—no pun intended—are his nondescript, or rather, absent, genitals.
It is, nonetheless, a pretty pricy nude, as the exclusive artwork is selling for US$7,900 at The Wonderful World of Animation Gallery. The production cel, which you can view here, will come unframed and with a Fox Certificate of Authenticity.
The gallery describes that Mr. Burns’ exposed area features “unmentionable parts the network execs did not want you to see.”
Granted, the scene is a sequence from Smithers’ dream, so Mr. Burns might really be more generous in that zone in waking life. But would you rather live with that image in your head?
