LEGO Is Releasing A 203-Piece Amelia Earhart Set For International Women’s Day

In celebration of International Women’s Day, LEGO is releasing a historical set that pays tribute to Amelia Earhart.
The 203-piece set was created to commemorate her achievements, which include being the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic, fighting for gender equality, and empowering other females through her lectures.
Unfortunately, Earhart mysteriously vanished during an attempt to circumnavigate the globe in 1937.
Her legacy, however, lives on, this time in the form of a Lockheed Vega 5B plane and a LEGO version of Earhart herself.
The model of Earhart is dressed in a leather flying jacket, a hat, and a scarf around her neck. The Lockheed Vega 5B is decked in a striking red and is mounted on a black pole.
The Amelia Earhart set will be available to purchase for US$19.99 from 6 March to 14 March, and can be collected for free with a purchase of over US$99.
