adidas ‘Tattoos’ Japan’s Famous Mount Fuji Onto New Artistic Sneakers

adidas has partnered with Japanese retailer atmos and tattoo shop Three Tide Tattoo for collaborative Superstars, dressed with imagery of Japan’s most famous mountain.
The atmos x Three Tides Tattoo x adidas Superstar ‘Mt. Fuji’ spotlights the talented work of Ukiyoemon Mitomoya, the artist behind Three Tides Tattoo. Mitomoya has illustrated Mount Fuji in beautiful detailing comprising icy alps against the starry nighttime sky.
The scene is lit up with fireworks motifs in hues of red and blue from the forefoot to the heel. The sneaker’s midsole, shell toe, and overlays are dressed in off-white shades throughout.
The laces have a touch of saturated blue shade while the tongue label has the hangtag that is colored in light pink. A red tag displaying Japanese characters is found on the lateral heel.
The adidas x atmos x Three Tide Tattoo Superstar ‘Mt. Fuji’ is available to purchase via the atmos webstore for ¥15,400 (US$145).
