Bill Nye The Science Guy Combines Science & Style In His Range Of Reusable Masks

Bill Nye the Science Guy has teamed up with health and wellness brand AIRBAND to create a series of face masks designed to help combat COVID-19 infections.
Dubbed Masks and Gaiters, the collection incorporates Nye’s unique style as well as his love for all things science. The face masks come in different options, all with striking designs while offering protection and breathability.
Each reusable mask has a hidden nano-fiber membrane that can filter out 99 percent of particulates. The anti-microbial three-ply covering can be washed up to 50 times before it loses its effectiveness.
Each mask comes with over-ear securing elastics and an anti-fog adjustable nose bar, which protects wearers against smog, smoke, and particulates.
Each mask is priced at US$13 and US$15, and you can purchase it here. Proceeds will be donated to the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) at the University of Washington’s School of Medicine.
