MTA Updates Subway Map With Nifty Information On COVID-19 Vaccine Locations

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) has launched a new feature on its Live Subway Map, showing the exact locations of COVID-19 vaccination sites. This allows people to plan their trips ahead of time.
The map shows riders how close vaccination sites are to subway stations, so they can get to the most convenient ones. All users need to do is to click on the vaccine icon, placed at the bottom right of the live subway map, to display their locations.
If you click on a specific site, you can find out the type of vaccine it offers, eligibility details, and how you can schedule an appointment.
“We know that many New Yorkers rely on public transit to get to a vaccination site,” said New York City Transit Interim President Sarah Feinberg. “Just as we did by launching new bus routes in Queens and Brooklyn last week, this new feature represents yet another way in which New York City Transit is thinking outside the box to make sure that the people of this city can seamlessly access the vaccination sites.”
More sites will be added to the map, and the MTA will continue to update eligibility information as well. To access the map, click here.
