Shinola x Silly Putty Wind You Back To Childhood With Fun Putty-Like Watch

All the hours and minutes you spent playing with Silly Putty are now literally on your hands, as the Crayola-owned brand has partnered with timepiece maker Shinola to create a watch honoring Silly Putty’s 71st birthday.
The whimsical Silly Putty Detrola features a cherry-red 43mm case, crafted out of durable TR90 resin, that pays homage to Silly Putty’s unmistakable red egg, along with a soft and flexible aqua silicone strap mimicking the stretchy material. A hardy stainless steel core ensures the watch is “built for long-lasting fun.”
Stretching the collaboration’s limits, the timepiece’s dial is decked out with matching aqua numerals and indices, and cherry-red hands.
For good measure, the watch, priced at US$395, is packaged in a slim box with Silly Putty’s branding and imagery of the putty in various shapes.
