IKEA Creates Audio Version Of 2021 Catalog Which Lets You Visualize Dream Homes

IKEA’s 2021 catalog might be its last, but the furniture giant proves that the inspiration doesn’t stop with the end of an era, having stretched the capabilities of the final guidebook beyond the imagination.
Most recently, the company has envisaged the catalog’s 286 pages as an audio experience encompassing nearly four hours’ worth of stories, or in IKEA’s own words, “a tour for the ears.”
The initial six chapters describe living space options for six diverse families. Walking through interior choices in a similar fashion to ASMR or visualization exercises, a narrator details how the brand’s products could improve the homes of a surfer couple, a young family with a one-bedroom home, a culinary professional, and more, saving you a trip to IKEA’s showrooms, as well.
IKEA then moves on to a how-to column with tips like how to ensure better sleep, how to brighten up your bathroom, and how to express your individuality at home.
Forget getting lost in its labyrinths; IKEA’s Audio Catalog could lead you down a new path of ideas. The audio retelling can be explored on YouTube, Spotify and Audiobooks.
